LEGH AND BOZZONE 1-2 AT IRONMAN 70.3 BAJA

06-05-24: Chris Legh established himself as a favorite to win the Ironman 70.3 World Championship later in the season with a convincing win at Ironman 70.3 Baja, Mexico over the weekend. Legh and Terenzo Bozzone entered the bike to run transition together with Bozzone taking a small lead onto the run course. Legh caught Bozzone about 6 miles into the run and then moved clear. Bozzone finished second.

In the women’s race, Kate Major furthered her preparations for Ironman Coeur d Alene next month by finishing 5th behind Mirinda Carfrae in a deep women’s field.
