Jennifer Tetrick loves to smile. This tall California ranch girl loves triathlon and it shows. A former all American Volleyball player, Jenny was always outdoors. No wonder, her grandfather was a professional cyclist, her father a former football player at UCLA, and her mother a nationally ranked tennis player. Her sister Allison is a professional cyclist who urged her to get on a bike. Now Jenny can be found dominating the bike while racing as a pro triathlete. So why all buzz? Well in 2009– in her first triathlon ever, Jenny won her age group. In 2010 She won her first Elite Division race at Treasure Island Triathlon and then went up against the a strong field at Pacific grove – finishing 7th overall. In 2011 Jennifer turned Pro. She is not looking back and instead enjoying the ride and focusing on her swimming and running. Jenny started her triathlon career while working full time as an advocate for renewable energy sources for a Santa Monica based solar company. She continues to work in the field and in her spare time can be found inspiring others less fortunate to find their passion in sport.
