PCH Sports is an international marketing agency specializing in endurance, adventure & fitness sports properties. Founded in 1985, our San Diego-based agency is versed in the wide variety of these lifestyle sports with core emphasis on triathlon and adventure racing. With athlete representation as its roots, PCH now provides a wide-spectrum of client services, including event design & implementation, brand building & sponsorship consulting.

PCH believes that success in sports marketing depends upon focus, knowledge and relationships. The gist of our work is to acquire & share knowledge, to cultivate & maintain relationships, and to focus on performance. Our athletes’ credo is that “winning is only 50% of the job” -- serving sponsor objectives the other 50%. In every sponsorship relationship we believe we have two clients - the athlete or event and the sponsor. We believe that effective event promotions are unique, targeted & tailored for sponsor objectives. Finally, PCH believes that knowledge can increase the effectiveness of every sports marketing dollar spent by at least a factor of five.

Our passion for endurance, adventure & fitness sports, and experience in the business of these sports, has forged PCH into the greatest single resource for athletes, events, & knowledge in our specialty area.

2003 marks PCH Sports President, Murphy Reinschreiber’s, 25th anniversary in the business of the sport of triathlon. Over the years, Murphy has been instrumental in the growth and development of the sport by providing a broad-range of services including representation of athletes who have won 21 Ironman Triathlon World Championships and 15 Triathlon or Duathlon World Championships; production of the sport’s first ever prize money race; creation of the format now adopted as the Olympic Triathlon; composition of the sport’s original drafting rule; and acting as the first Executive Director of the sport’s national governing body (now called USA Triathlon). Murphy is also active in adventure racing and is the co-producer of the Mild Seven Outdoor Quest with IMG, the world’s largest sports marketing agency.
